Reading Journal Introduction

If this journal is a gift for a reader this introduction will help explain what the journal is for.

It explains the pages contained within the notebook. Which will be helpful if the reader isn’t familiar with the bullet journal version of book logging.

Colouring Bookshelf

The first two pages are colouring book style bookshelves containing 100 books.

This is a quick and effective reading tracker as you just colour in a book for each book you read and can see at a glance how well you’re doing (or not!)

To Be Read List

Next we have a check box TBR list to note down the books you would like to read this year.

Don’t think you need to fill it immediately. Note a few down and add to it as your reading journey advances. Check off the books you’ve read.

Pixel Trackers

A big part of Bullet journaling is the pixel (or habit) tracker.

Create your colour key on the left. For instance red for 0 pages, orange for 1-10 pages, etc. Then colour in the daily chart on the right with the colour of your achievements that day.

Note and Quotes

Every reader comes across lines or even chapters that leave a mark.

This section is to note those very special moments for yourself. If a character says something poignant, note it here for a quick and easy reminder of that cherished reading memory.

100 Book Logs

The meat of this journal is 100 book record pages.

Print out a cover and glue it in. Keep track of title, author, start and finish dates, ratings and much much more. A fully comprehensive log for each of the 100 books your read.

Bullet Journal Pages

At the back of the journal we have added some dotted pages.

These are for traditional bullet journaling. Make your own habit trackers. Add extra notes and quotes. Or just use the space to doodle. It’s entirely up to you do with these pages.
